Twice the Desktop Space for only the cost of a Monitor - Using Dual Monitors |
||||||||||||||||||||
|
For years, we were limited with only the normal amount of
computer desktop space. This was OK but when we wanted to have a
few programs open at the same time, we found ourselves opening and
closing programs or minimizing all the time.
Then, the Dual Monitor option became available with Windows 98, and more used with Windows 2000. With the purchase of a dual monitor video card and the purchase of a second monitor, you are able to double the amount of viewing area for your computer. This allows you to have more programs open at the same time and be able to see them full screen. For Example: Lets say that you use the internet all the time. Maybe you use America OnLine and are using their Instant Messaging feature. But at the same time you want to be able to type a letter to a friend, do some work, work on your spreadsheet at the same time. To do this with one monitor means that either you need to make all the work spaces so small that they are hard to read or you need to minimize and maximize all the time. This can be very time consuming as well as a pain in the neck. Provided you have the space available on your desk, we highly recommend this time saving solution.
