Recommendations
For many years we have been helping companies solve computer software issues.  As a result, we have programs, hardware and web sites that we like better than others.  Our recommendations are just just suggestions.  We do not guarantee that these programs will solve your issues.  We will present the facts as we see them and you can make your choices.  Thanks for visiting our site and we hope it is of benefit to you and your company.
Programs
These are programs we use and recommend to our many customers.  If we stop recommending a program, we will delete it from the list.
QuickBooks Since 1990 we have been recommending QuickBooks

Microsoft Office

 This suite of office productivity tools has become the industry standard
GoldMine GoldMine was a late starter in the contact management arena but it has caught on quickly and is the best
Norton Antivirus Not all antivirus programs can catch all viruses but Norton does a good job as an installed program.  McAfee is better as an "OnLine" program.
McAfee Split Decision on this.  McAfee also is a good antivirus program but I believe it is a better "OnLine" product vs. Norton.
Windows
There is so much to be said about Windows.  I have included links to each of the Windows web pages so you can get information first hand. If you want a more objective take on the Windows product click here and subscribe to Woody's Windows Watch.  They are great!
Windows 95 Oldie but goodie.  Still being used by some of our customers - but not many
Windows 98 Still being used by many customers.  Has some issues but the web site is good and we generally recommending keeping unless there is a specific reason for a change
Windows 2000 Very good and stable operating system.  Just recently stopped selling.  We do not recommend the ME version
Windows XP  Latest and greatest.  Has just gained the confidence of the larger IS managers.  Security seems to be the biggest problem.  We do not recommend using the automatic update feature.  Stay away from the Home version.
Woody's Watch If you want the latest information on Windows from an independent source, this is the place to go - and it is free.  We highly recommend joining the newsletter.

1 Shopping Cart Not everyone needs a shopping cart for their web site, but if you do, we recommend this one.  We have used it for years and it is easy to use and complete.
My E-Mail Manager If you want to use the same program that we use to manage all our e-mails and newsletters, including automated subscribes and unsubscribes - this is it.
B-Central This is a Microsoft site that has many tools to help promote your web site - monthly charge

Animation Factory If you want animated characters, text, pictures, borders, lines, etc that add movement and interest to your web site - this is the place. We are a platinum member and really use the service. Annual fee.

Weather A great place to check your weather
E-Bay A good site to list and sell excess inventory, items, household goods, etc.
Yellow Pages You can enter a company name or the name of an individual  to get their phone number, any where in the US
CNet A good reference where you can check on computer hardware, computer software and other computer related items.
Hardware
We do not sell computers, parts or programs.  We only have information in our inventory.  The information below is based on successful recommendations we have made to our customers. When you click on the link below, you will be take directly to their site.
Dell Computers Contrary to the norm, Dell is the largest computer seller in the world and their service is great and the product is also.  You may run into delays getting in touch with the service dept, but once you do, they generally know their stuff.  Great computers and notebooks.
Franklin Covey I know you are saying to yourself, they do not sell computers.  You are correct but their planners are the best and their system can not be beat.  We have used Franklin Planners since 1990 in conjunction with our computers.
PC Magazine A very good resource when looking for computers or accessories. They have researched the information and have extensive reviews

Productivity

We are all about productivity. As we can, we will add to this list the things that we have suggested to our customers.  These suggestions really work.  In most cases we use these recommendations to increase our productivity so we can be more efficient. 
Dual Monitors If you use more than one application on your computer at a time, this is great.  It makes my work much easier
Remote Access If you want to access your computer from home, work or on the road at a Cyber Cafe, this is the answer.  We use it daily for customer support and to access our system from the customer's site.
American on Line - web sites Did you know that if you go to the address bar in American On Line and type in an Internet address, you are not actually accessing the entire internet.
